clichéd enough, but i have a few confessions; through these, an introduction into my mind of cogs and intricacies that are worn and split. one: i bite my nails until i reach the skin. firstly, for the texture. the skin is rubbery, and keeps my jaw busy.  my teeth gnaw away, and soon, they fade away as well, into nubs of gum. and then i can no longer talk myself out of anything. secondly, for the taste. coppery, but slight. i think of change, like pennies -- useless but existent. two: i dream in monochrome, but in definite detail. similar to a canine, perhaps, but less conscious and far more primal. perhaps more like a wolf.
